NEWS
- Congratulations to Anne Coray, whose book of poems A Measure's Hush will be the next Boreal Book. We plan to have it ready in the fall. Official publication date will be Jan. 1, 2011.
- Congratulations to Eva Saulitis, whose book Leaving Resurrection was a finalist in ForeWord's Book of the Year Award. Eva traveled to Latvia to spend time at the Writers House, doing research and writing. She's at work on new nonfiction and on a book of poems.
- Congratulations to Margo Klass, who received from the Rasmuson Foundation a Project Award to create eight three-dimensional found-object works representing transitions between seasons in Alaska.
- Double Moon: Constructions and Conversations is now available! It looks fabulous, thanks to Margo Klass's art, Chris Arend's photography, Wanda Chin's cover and book design, Dixon Jones's electronic wizardry. You'll enjoy Frank Soos's writing responding to each piece of art. Spirited, unexpected, precise and lively, these pieces create the intertwining that makes possible a third artistic experience.
- Thank you to Mark Cull and Kate Gale and all the staff at Red Hen Press for making this imprint possible. Thanks to Joeth Zucco for painstaking copyediting and proofreading. Thank you to Aida de l'Isle for the Boreal Books web site design.
